Dental Emergency

Knowing what to do in the event of a dental emergency can mean the difference between losing or saving a tooth. Talk to Dr. Cho about ways to help prevent dental emergencies, such as the use of mouth guards for sports and recreational activities, and healthy oral habits. If your child has a dental emergency, call our office immediately. If the emergency happens out of office hours and/or we are not available, don’t wait! Visit an emergency room as soon as possible.

  • Toothache or severe pain
  • Facial swelling
  • Loose tooth
  • Tooth pushed out of place (luxation type injury)
  • Knocked out tooth (avulsion)
  • Possible broken jaw
  • Broken braces or wires
  • Bitten or chewed lip after dental treatment
  • Abscess
  • Bleeding after an accident
